RenovaBR founder Eduardo Mufarej took part in a special class hosted by the Chilean organization More for Chile – a school of political renewal inspired by RenovaBR – to discuss the current challenges of democracy and political representation throughout Latin America. The meeting, marked by dialogue and exchange of experiences, reflected the commitment of both schools to a more plural, connected and representative politics.
As a reference in the formation of new leaders and political innovation, Mufarej shared his vision on the main obstacles faced in the insertion of new representatives in public management, in addition to exemplifying the role of RenovaBR in training agents committed to democracy and political renewal in Brazil. His participation took place at the third meeting of the Más para Chile program, launched in May of this year.
Inspired by the methodology developed by RenovaBR, Más para Chile reflects a regional effort for political transformation through education. The school, which is part of the Democracia+ network, seeks to prepare people to become political candidates and future representatives, capable of dialoguing and promoting agreements. The program aims to train leaders for the November elections for deputies and senators.
The moment reinforces the role of initiatives from both schools in the Latin American political scene, as part of a network that believes in political renewal and strengthening democracy through education and diversity.
