This Thursday (27), the first in-person meeting of the PLL (Legislative Leadership Program), held by Legisla Brasil in partnership with RenovaBR, took place in S\u00e3o Paulo. The training, which aims to strengthen the performance of those behind the scenes of power, through an immersion in strategic planning, will have another in-person meeting on June 28 and online mentoring until November 2025. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a focus on legislative efficiency and real impact, the program will serve cabinet chiefs selected by RenovaBR, in order to prepare them for the development of strategic plans, leading legislative teams and taking campaign promises and social demands off paper, so that they can become effective public policies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To this end, the methodology developed by Legisla Brasil, focused on strategic planning for legislative mandates, was presented to participants. The meetings will address planning and management tools, leadership and strategic communication. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Exchange of experiences and strategic mentoring boost leadership behind the scenes in the Legislature<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Supported by diverse mentoring, participants exchanged knowledge, gaining qualifications and consolidating innovations. The program has 25 participants from different parties and states, committed to the evolution of the mandates of which they are a part. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After all, as much as planning within legislative teams seems an obvious necessity, strategies are not always structured in a proactive format. With the methodology proposed by Legisla Brasil, the structures would be mostly dedicated to the activities planned and organized by the mandates and, also, for occurrences related to issues that are not within the planned scope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to develop management through their own trajectories, the program proposed that, during the meeting activities, leaders take a closer look at the mandate profiles they deal with on a daily basis, establishing a diagnosis of opportunities to outline strategic objectives and goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhen we improve the work of office managers with a step-by-step guide on what needs to be done the day after the immersion, we strengthen the positive impact of the Legislature, increase the feeling of representation on the part of society and, with this, promote a more responsive democracy that is connected to the real needs of the population\u201d, says Lana Faria, operations director at Legisla Brasil. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Based on long-standing experience in monitoring parliamentary mandates, the program helped participants identify priorities on agendas, the importance of setting the agenda for certain debates, working with parties and occupying formal decision-making spaces \u2013 tasks that involve coordination in legislative environments. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

By bringing together leaders who work behind the scenes in the legislature, the 4th edition of the Legislative Leadership Program reaffirms RenovaBR's commitment to political training based on integrity, planning, effectiveness and dialogue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
