\u201cI had never thought about running for office, despite my family\u2019s political background. My father was mayor three times, but I had never considered that path. However, when the invitation came, I accepted the challenge and identified with politics. Now, I\u2019m here to make a difference,\u201d says Carolina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Itai\u00f3polis faces structural challenges that require planning and action. Among the priorities of the new administration, Carolina highlights infrastructure, health and education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOur city has more than three thousand kilometers of rural roads, and maintaining these roads is essential for mobility and the flow of agricultural production. In addition, we need to improve urban paving and ensure that our infrastructure keeps up with the city\u2019s growth,\u201d he explains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the health area, the goal is to bring services closer to the population, reducing the need for travel. \u201cWe want to bring specialized services to Itai\u00f3polis, ensuring greater quality and efficiency in serving citizens.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Education will also receive special attention, with investments in the quality of teaching and school infrastructure. \u201cA strong education is the foundation for a better future, and our goal is to ensure that our schools provide adequate conditions for students to learn and develop.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Carolina believes that public management should be modern, planned and results-based, which is why she sought training at RenovaBR. \u201cI discovered the school recently, but it was a gift in my life. The training gave me a new perspective on public administration, indicators, planning and innovation.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She intends to apply this knowledge to municipal management, bringing solutions inspired by good practices adopted in other cities. \u201cWe need an efficient, humanized administration that truly solves problems. The municipality does not yet have a management model based on goals and indicators, and this will be one of our greatest achievements.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The deputy mayor wants to be present in all areas of government. \u201cPeople expect me to play an active role in the administration, and that is exactly what I will do. I will not limit myself to just one area; I want to contribute to infrastructure, health, education, social assistance, housing, agriculture, culture, sports and much more.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the first 100 days of her government, the deputy mayor will work alongside the mayor to ensure concrete deliveries for the population. \u201cWe have priority projects, but we cannot forget the other areas that also impact the population\u2019s quality of life. We will seek resources, enroll the municipality in state and federal programs and ensure that Itai\u00f3polis advances in all directions.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Carolina wants her administration to leave a mark of progress and efficiency in Itai\u00f3polis. \u201cMy goal is that, at the end of our term, people will notice the difference in the city and feel that public management has truly transformed their lives.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
