The chosen theme was <\/span><b>Low Carbon Economy<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, strategic at a time when federal deputies and senators must vote on projects that must be announced within the Green Package, from the Ministry of Finance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With three panels, the event took place in Bras\u00edlia and featured the participation of leaders trained by <\/span><b>values<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, in addition to other parliamentarians. The following deputies participated: Samuel Viana, Pedro Aihara, Daniel Trzeciak, Thiago de Joaldo, Jorge Goetten, Bandeira de Mello, Luiz Carlos Hauly; deputies Professora Goreth and Adriana Ventura; and senator Alessandro Vieira.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The first panel, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">mediated by <\/span><b>Abram Neto<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, CEO of AmCham Brazil, addressed the country&#039;s context in the green agenda. Participating <\/span><b>Nabil Kadir<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Superintendent of the Environmental Area of BNDES; <\/span><b>Marcel Fukayama<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Head of Global Policy at B Lab; <\/span><b>Joaquim Levy<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Director of Economic Strategy and Market Relations at Banco Safra; and <\/span><b>Ronan Damascus<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, National Director of Technology at Microsoft in Brazil.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the second, mediated by our founder <\/span><b>Edu Mufarej<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the discussion revolved around the challenges of expanding the carbon market in the country, with the participation of <\/span><b>Eduardo Bastos<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, CEO of MyCarbon; <\/span><b>Natalia Renteria<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Head of Policy at Biomas; and <\/span><b>Roberto Rodrigues<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Former Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply. Each panelist brought their experiences with the market.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Finally, with the mediation of <\/span><b>CEO of RenovaBR Patricia Audi<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the third panel addressed the role of the Executive and Legislative branches in regulating the market and the understanding of this agenda by political agents.
