RenovaBR held the second edition of <\/span>\u201cBrazil in Debate\u201d<\/b>, i<\/span>initiative that aims to strengthen, expand and qualify the debate on priority agendas of the National Congress. The chosen theme was <\/span>Low Carbon Economy<\/b>, strategic at a time when federal deputies and senators must vote on projects that must be announced within the Green Package, from the Ministry of Finance.<\/span><\/p>\n

With three panels, the event took place in Bras\u00edlia and featured the participation of leaders trained by <\/span>values<\/b>, in addition to other parliamentarians. The following deputies participated: Samuel Viana, Pedro Aihara, Daniel Trzeciak, Thiago de Joaldo, Jorge Goetten, Bandeira de Mello, Luiz Carlos Hauly; deputies Professora Goreth and Adriana Ventura; and senator Alessandro Vieira.<\/span><\/p>\n

The first panel, <\/span>mediated by <\/span>Abram Neto<\/b>, CEO of AmCham Brazil, addressed the country's context in the green agenda. Participating <\/span>Nabil Kadir<\/b>, Superintendent of the Environmental Area of BNDES; <\/span>Marcel Fukayama<\/b>, Head of Global Policy at B Lab; <\/span>Joaquim Levy<\/b>, Director of Economic Strategy and Market Relations at Banco Safra; and <\/span>Ronan Damascus<\/b>, National Director of Technology at Microsoft in Brazil.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the second, mediated by our founder <\/span>Edu Mufarej<\/b>, the discussion revolved around the challenges of expanding the carbon market in the country, with the participation of <\/span>Eduardo Bastos<\/b>, CEO of MyCarbon; <\/span>Natalia Renteria<\/b>, Head of Policy at Biomas; and <\/span>Roberto Rodrigues<\/b>, Former Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply. Each panelist brought their experiences with the market.<\/span><\/p>\n

Finally, with the mediation of <\/span>CEO of RenovaBR Patricia Audi<\/b>, the third panel addressed the role of the Executive and Legislative branches in regulating the market and the understanding of this agenda by political agents. Participating <\/span>Rodrigo Rollemberg<\/b>, Secretary of Green Economy, Decarbonization and Bioindustry of the MDIC; the senator <\/span>Alessandro Vieira<\/b>, leadership <\/span>values<\/b>; and <\/span>Marcelo Ramos<\/b>, Special Consultant at Petrobras.<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
