Exclusive to the Alumni Network, the event was attended by Irina Bullara, Young Global Leader and Advisor at RenovaBR, and Raissa M\u00fcller, Content Specialist at Learn to Fly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Irina Bullara highlighted the importance of self-knowledge for political leadership. According to her, being authentic is essential in an environment that increasingly values transparency. \u201cWe need to know who we are in order to deliver authenticity. If we don\u2019t know who we are, it will be difficult to be authentic. And voters quickly notice a lack of authenticity,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She also commented on the need to know both our strengths and weaknesses. \u201cBeing authentic involves recognizing our lights and shadows. We have to embrace both with equal intensity to be true and sustainable in our actions,\u201d said Irina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Raissa M\u00fcller, a psychologist with over 5 years of applied experience, discussed the importance of self-knowledge as a basis for building a solid future. \u201cIt is impossible to draw up a plan without knowing where we are. We need a compass to understand who we are today and who we want to become,\u201d she pointed out.<br><br>\u201cWe are living in complicated times. The human brain has not adapted to the speed of information,\u201d she highlighted. She also differentiated the skills that alleviate suffering from those that build well-being. \u201cWe need to understand that they are different skills. Just alleviating suffering is not enough to build happiness,\u201d Raissa stressed about the emotional challenges faced today, mainly due to information overload.<br><br>The \u201cMapping Your Skills\u201d event sought to encourage participants to develop their leadership skills through self-knowledge and personal empowerment, with a focus on authenticity and more effective political action.
