In a new demonstration of its commitment to political renewal, RenovaBR held another successful Regional Meeting, this time in the capital of Minas Gerais, Belo Horizonte. With 154 registered participants and 115 full participants, the event was the closing of the Elections 2024 training and reaffirmed the organization's mission to train ordinary citizens to transform Brazilian politics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was attended by representatives from 6 states and 76 municipalities, highlighting the reach and influence of RenovaBR in different regions of the country. The diversity of party affiliations was notable, with participants from 24 parties, demonstrating the multi-party approach and openness to dialogue that characterizes the organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The composition of the participants reflected RenovaBR's commitment to inclusion and representation. Cis women made up 43% of those present, while cis men made up 56%. Racial representation was also diverse, with 13% of black people, 36% of mixed race, 0.9% of Asian people and 49% of white people.

This diversity is fundamental to the mission of RenovaBR, which seeks to build a policy that truly represents the plurality of Brazilian society, including voices and perspectives from all backgrounds and identities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Training and Brazil Renewal Day<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

During the event, participants had the opportunity to participate in panels and debates, enriching their knowledge about ethical political practices, campaign strategies and efficient public management. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program included experts in political campaigns and public leaders. In addition to Councilor Irina Bullara, who gave a class on self-knowledge in politics, campaign strategist Deniza Gurgel and entrepreneur Alan Bueno also participated. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Three RenovaBR leaders participated in the \u201cElections in Practice live\u201d panel: Uberaba councilwoman Rochelle Bazaga (Progressistas\/MG); Maycon Juan, Chief of Staff at the Chamber of Deputies; and Gabriel Azevedo, councilman and President of the Belo Horizonte City Council (MDB\/MG).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the most anticipated moments of the regional meeting is the award ceremony for the best projects of the \u201cDay of Renewing Brazil\u201d in the Southeast region, divided into three categories: Promotion of Diversity, Popular Mobilization and Civic Entrepreneurship. In the first category, the winning project was \u201cAwareness Walk on Autism Spectrum Disorder\u201d, by student Caio Marques. In the Popular Mobilization category, the winning project was \u201cMutir\u00e3o Cantina Cafas\u201d, by students Maia Nascimento and Keila dos Reis. The third award went to the project \u201cCommunity Garden Ubs Vila Esportiva\u201d, by student Andr\u00e9 Luiz de Aviz.

It is worth mentioning that Renewal Day is an academic activity as part of RenovaBR's 2024 Elections training program. The projects aim to promote initiatives led by students from the school throughout Brazil. This year, all students carried out the project simultaneously on April 27, 2024.

Strengthening the RBR network and looking to the future<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The meeting in Belo Horizonte served to strengthen the network of connections between participants, fostering collaboration and mutual support among future political leaders. RenovaBR\u2019s network of alumni, advisors and partners continues to grow, consolidating the organization\u2019s influence and expanding its impact on the Brazilian political scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The institution remains steadfast in its purpose of renewing politics in Brazil. Initiatives such as the \u201cGente que Renova\u201d series will highlight inspiring stories and show the positive impact that the organization is generating in the country.
