For students from the North and Central-West of the 2024 Elections training, the Regional Meeting took place in Bras\u00edlia, on Saturday, May 25. With 58 participants from both regions, RenovaBR brought together participants in a space for learning, knowledge exchange and connection with experts in leadership training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the Legislative Chamber of the Federal District, the event was attended by participants from 12 states and 39 Brazilian municipalities, with 16 parties represented. Moderated by Vitor Paiva, lawyer and monitor of RenovaBR, and Monalisa Carneiro, political scientist and RBR Alumni. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the participation of Helton Souto, President of the DACOR Institute, and political scientist Humberto Dantas, the meeting was attended by RenovaBR leaders for the two \u201cElections in Practice\u201d panels. Federal deputy Gisela Simona (Uni\u00e3o\/MT) and councilman Ronil\u00e7o Guerreiro (Podemos\/MS) participated in the \u201cCities and Society\u201d section; in the \u201cPolitics and Market\u201d section, journalist Matheus Ribeiro and Edwal Portilho, Executive President of the Goi\u00e1s Industrial Development Association (ADIAL) participated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event ended with the awarding of awards to the best \u201cBrazil Renewal Day\u201d projects in the North and Central-West regions, divided into 3 categories: Promotion, Popular Mobilization and Civic Entrepreneurship. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the North region, the award-winning project in the category Promoting Diversity was the \u201c1st Meeting of People with Disabilities in Ananindeua\u201d, by student Alcindo Junior, from class A. In Popular Mobilization, the winner was \u201cCome, Let's Make It Happen\u201d, by student Tainara Fran\u00e7a, from class C. Finally, the highlight in Civic Entrepreneurship went to the project \u201cRenewed Energy\u201d, by student Jos\u00e9 Junior, class C. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Central-West region, the project \u201c1st Race of Love\u201d, by student Keit\u00ea de Almeida (class E), won in the category Promoting Diversity. The Popular Mobilization award went to the project \u201cCitizenship in the Square\u201d, by student Thaline Borba, class A. And in Civic Entrepreneurship, the project \u201cMutir\u00e3o Rem\u00e9dio Vencido \u2013 Rio Perdido Protegido\u201d, by students Luiza Boer (class A), Deuesdete Romero (class D) and Beatriz Wandscheer (class D) won.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
