The Southern Regional Meeting took place on Saturday, May 18, in Curitiba, Paran\u00e1. In the first of six events that will be held for students of the 2024 Elections training, RenovaBR brought together 70 participants from the Southern region for an afternoon of learning and knowledge exchange.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With 19 parties represented and students from 32 municipalities, the event was mediated by Faynara Merege, RenovaBR leader and parliamentary advisor, and Jos\u00e9 Henrique Nascimento, Secretary of Finance of Brusque (SC). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the classes, the event was attended by Helton Souto, President of the DACOR Institute, who spoke about Elections and Diversity. TEDx Speakers Micarla Lins and Giovanni Begossi spoke about communication, public speaking and insecurity. Irina Bullara, RenovaBR Advisor, spoke about self-knowledge in politics; and finally, political scientist Humberto Dantas closed the day with the dynamic Letter of the Future.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting also had the presence of RenovaBR leaders in two panels: the first, \u201cCities and Society\u201d, was attended by councilwoman Indiara Barbosa (NOVO\/PR) and Fernanda dos Santos, specialist in partnerships and fundraising at the Sivis Institute. Valdemar Jorge, former Secretary of Sustainable Development of Paran\u00e1 and Mayor Andr\u00e9 Vechi (PL\/SC) participated in the second panel, \u201cPolitics and Market\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the last block of the event, the best projects of the \u201cDay of Renewing Brazil\u201d in the South region were awarded, separated into 3 categories: Promotion, Popular Mobilization and Civic Entrepreneurship. In the first, the winning project was \u201cEntre Gestos e Sonhos\u201d, by student Jo\u00e3o Pedro Azevedo, from class C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Popular Mobilization category, the winning project was \u201cEmpowerment and Women in Politics\u201d, by student Andr\u00e9 Nicoletti, from class A. The third highlight went to the project \u201cRenewed Energy\u201d, by students Elis Domingues and Let\u00edcia Fanini, both from class D. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
