RenovaBR has officially launched the RenovaBR Selection, the selection process for those who wish to run for office in 2026 and prepare with the political training school. Applications will be open between April 14th and May 23rd, and must be submitted exclusively by the website

With three stages, the RenovaBR Selection is free and can be done by anyone who meets the following requirements: be at least 21 years old by the date of the election (October 6, 2026); be Brazilian; be in full exercise of political rights; have a clean record, in accordance with Complementary Law No. 135/2010 (Clean Record Law), and consider democracy as a fundamental basis for political construction.

The stages of the RenovaBR Selection

Phase 1: Registration Form and Political Context

At this stage, interested parties must complete the Registration Form and answer the Political Context Questionnaires, a test that assesses the level of political knowledge and engagement, with questions about the electoral scenario, democracy, public policies and social and political challenges.

Phase 2: Presentation Video

In the second phase, candidates must record and submit a video response answering the question: “What motivates you to enter politics?” In addition, they must also answer a small set of questions on various topics, as part of the partnership between RenovaBR and other political training schools in Latin America.

Phase 3: Interview and Final Selection

Finally, the candidate who reaches the third and final phase will have direct contact with the RenovaBR team.

This is a decisive stage, where emerging and relevant topics for the national and state contexts will be addressed, according to RenovaBR guidelines and analyses, in addition to the analysis of the leadership profile and civic engagement.
