The Congresso em Foco Award announced this Wednesday (20/8) the winning parliamentarians of its 18th edition. Created by the website Congress in Focus, the initiative recognizes leaders who stand out most in the exercise of their mandate, valuing actors who practice politics with excellence and encouraging society's engagement in strengthening and monitoring the work of parliamentarians in the legislature. 

Among the recognized congressmen are Federal Representative Tabata Amaral (PSB-SP), chosen by journalists' votes; Camila Jara (PT-MS), honored as best federal representative of Mato Grosso do Sul; and Duarte Jr. (PSB-MA), named best representative of the state of Maranhão. Both leaders are graduates of RenovaBR. This recognition reinforces the importance of parliamentarians who perform with excellence and represent, in their mandates, essential values for strengthening democracy.
