RenovaBR's Director of Education, Marjorie Lynn, will participate on September 24th and 25th in the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) 2025, an annual meeting hosted by the Clinton Foundation that brings together global leaders to build collective solutions to democratic, social, and environmental challenges. The event, held in New York, USA, will feature leaders from the public, private, and philanthropic sectors from various countries. 

During the event, representing RenovaBR, the director is part of an international working group on democracy and human rights, which will also focus on the climate crisis. Along with other stakeholders and organizations, this participation reinforces the school's commitment to preparing Brazilian political leaders aligned with global best practices while also sharing innovative Brazilian initiatives with international partners. 

"Being part of the CGI 2025 working group is an opportunity to engage with international leaders and, together, devise solutions that address the common challenges of democracy, human rights, and sustainability. Being in New York, precisely during climate week, reinforces the urgency of preparing leaders directly from our societies and democracies," emphasizes Marjorie Lynn. 

On the first day of the meeting, she presented the RenovaBR Sustainability Working Group project—a project that involves local leaders trained by the organization to provide classes, discussions, and practical exercises on basic sanitation challenges in their respective regions. The initiative was presented to demonstrate to different stakeholders how the organization is committed to the climate cause and is empowering political leaders to address its multiple challenges.

International Dialogue on Democracy, Human Rights and Climate

In addition to participating in the CGI, Marjorie also had other parallel engagements in New York. On Monday (September 22nd), she attended the event The Nature Conservancy: Launch of the Brazilian Coalition's Global Land, dedicated to networking and discussions on financing sustainable transformations. 

The following day, he participated in meetings with experts from various fields—such as climate, biodiversity, and health—who work in Latin America and the Caribbean, deepening exchanges on public policies and regional practices.
