Elected councilwoman Nay Barbalho (PP), a graduate of the 2021 RenovaBR class, announces the opening of a pioneering selection process in the capital of Pará. The initiative is aimed exclusively at people with disabilities and neurodiversity, seeking to fill parliamentary advisory positions in her office at the Belém City Council.

Nay Barbalho reinforces that she wants to build a diverse office, where different experiences are valued and transformed into concrete actions for the whole of society.

“We want a mandate that is an example of what RenovaBR believes in: a fairer Brazil, where everyone has a voice. This is an important step towards truly including people with disabilities in decision-making spaces and inspiring other leaders to follow the same path,” says the elected councilwoman.

The initiative reflects RenovaBR's values: commitment to representation, equal opportunities and real transformation of Brazilian politics. 

“In addition to opening an inclusive selection process, our intention is for the vacancies to include candidates who can contribute with experience in customer service and are interested in inclusive and social policies,” highlights Nay.

Selection Process

The selection process will be free of charge and will include virtual and in-person stages, including a CV analysis and interviews — one of which will be directly with the councilwoman herself. Applications will be accepted from December 3 to 18, 2024 and must be submitted exclusively by email to [email protected].

The office will also prioritize careers related to the legislative context and participation in events related to public policies, valuing the history of community involvement.
